Ann Arcadia (Chacon) Molina

 Ann Chacon Molina, 93, died October 27, 2017 at Presbyterian Manor, Arkansas City, Kansas.
     She was born January 12, 1924 to Manual and Pauline Chacon. A long time resident of Kinsley, Kansas until 2008, she spent the last 9 years of her life residing at the Presbyterian Manor in Arkansas City, Kansas. Ann's sense of humor, infectious laugh and cheerful smile spread joy and happiness amongst those living and working at the manor.
     She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald and David and husband Jesse.
     She belonged to St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Kinsley.
     On November 16, 1943, she married Jesse S. Molina at Abilene, Texas.
     Ann is survived by two daughters, Patty Molina and Marcy Lundberg, both of Arkansas City, Kansas; son, Tim, Tulsa, Oklahoma; three sisters, Rosalie Castaneda, Lewis, Kansas, Margaret Garcia and Carlotta Brenner, both of Larned, Kansas; brother Martin Chacon, Great Bend, Kansas; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
     A rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m., Thursday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Kinsley.
     Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday at the church, with Father John Strasser presiding. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery. 
     Memorials may be sent to Alzheimer's Association in care of McKillip Memorial Funeral Home, Kinsley.
