To Valis and the entire Mclean Family,
Your mother was such a positive influence on so many young souls... She was absolutley my favorite teacher... oh she was tough at times but as soon as recess came she was also our key to giving us tips on being a better basketball player. She taught us so much about living life.
I always admired your family as being a very classy family... Your father was the leader but believe me your mom had her say. I would tell you this about our relationship...she challenged me to never quit school until I had a great college degree, she was like my mentor for those years at Trousdale. I have such fond memories of her.
My prayers are with you at this time of sadness but how fortunate you had this brilliant lady to lead you!
