I grew up in Lewis. I remember Marlene and John. They were always so sweet and kind. She was also my school bus driver! Prayers for you and yours. How wonderful it is to have faith in the Lord. May the Lord give you peace in your time of loss!

A few weeks ago, I saw Marlene and Susan at the Hutchinson Clinic. I'm so glad I stopped to visit with Marlene for a few minutes. My prayers and thoughts are with the family. This poem reminds me of her:

"She lovingly nurtured you when you were small and guided you as you grew.
Her attitudes, values, hopes and dreams became a part of you.
And though she is gone, her love for you remains, and always will ...
your mother lives on within your heart - her spirit guides you still."

With my deepest sympathy!
