Maurice "Mo" Eskew

Maurice “Mo” Eskew, 78, died February 13, 2024, in Larned, KS. He was born February 28, 1945 in Great Bend, KS. The son of Glenn and Alice Eskew. He graduated from Garfield High School in 1963.

Mo worked for Cross Mfg. of Lewis, KS. as a machinist for 20 years then went to work for Crustbuster in Spearville, KS. where he retired in 2014.

Mo spent 6 years in the National Guard and was a member of the American Legion Post #300 in Garfield, KS.

Survivors include; Bobbi Coover of Kinsley, with whom he spent the last 35 years of his life. A sister Sara Crane (David) of Lexington, KY., a daughter Tina Cook (Bill) of Parker, CO., three granddaughters, Kayla, Taylor and Aubrey, two grandsons, Brandon and Blake. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Linda Graber.

After retiring he and Bobbi moved to Montross, CO. Where they took many road trips and when at home he worked on many woodworking and metal projects.

A friends and family memorial will take place at 1:00 p.m. on April 20, 2024 at the Garfield Cemetery in Garfield, KS.
