Melva M. (Schmidt) Konrade

Melva Konrade, 99 died July 5, 2018 at Edwards County Medical Center in Kinsley, KS. She was born on February 21, 1919 in St. Leo, KS. the daughter of Albert and Anna (Dressen) Schmidt. She married Alexander Konrade on August 8, 1939 in Wright, KS. He preceded Melva in death. Survivors include a son; David Konrade of Dodge City, KS., four daughters; Kay Ferguson of Dodge City, KS., Deanna Wissler of Mound City, MO., Bev Woolard of Kinsley, KS., and Charlene Murdie of Larned, KS., 24 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alexander and two sons and one daughter. Vigil service will be at 7pm on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Offerle, KS. Memorial service will be at 10:30am on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the church with Fr. John Strasser presiding. Inurnment will be in the New St. Joseph Cemetery near Offerle, KS. Memorials may be given to the Hospital Auxiliary in care of McKillip Memorial Funeral Home, Kinsley, KS.
