Connie L. Percifield, Watkins 71, passed away Thursday November 14, 2019 at her home in Kinsley Kansas who she shared with lifetime partner David Brokar.
She was born November 10, 1948 in Protection Kansas, the daughter of George and Bonnie Short Percifield.
She was a graduate from Protection High School and Yakima Business College. She later worked at Hitch'n Post Travel Plaza, Gunsmoke Restaurant, Sterling House, Medicallodge and Edwards County Health Department.
She married Larry Dean Watkins in November of 1966. They had four children James Dean Watkins, Jerry Wayne Watkins, Deidra Ann Watkins and Brooke Shane Watkins.
Survivors include David Brokar, significant other, her sons James Dean Watkins, Jerry Wayne Watkins, Brooke Shane Watkins, and daughter Deidra Ann Flowers. Sisters include AnnaLea Sanders, Judy Bramlett and Barbara Maloney.
Preceded in death by her parents George And Bonnie Percifield, also two sisters and two brothers and two nephews.
She had 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be Tuesday 10:30 am, November 19th, 2019 at McKillip Funeral Chapel, Kinsley Kansas.
The casket will remain closed and burial will be in Hillside Cemetery Kinsley Kansas.
