Dale Helen Delay

Graveside services will be held for Dale and Helen Delay on Monday, June 12th at 11:00 am at the Wayne Cemetery in Lewis, KS. Dale A. Delay, 81, was born on November 25th, 1934 in Lewis, KS. Dale was the son of Floyd and Faye Bell Delay. He passed away on November 29th, 2015 in Scott City, Kansas. Helen (Bernatzki) Delay, 83, was born on November 9th, 1939 in Kinsley, KS. Helen was the daughter of Theodore and Elsie Spears Bernatzki. She passed away on November 22nd, 2022 in Scott City, Kansas. They were married in 1956.

Dale and Helen are survived by their three children, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren: son Joe, his wife Jody, their three children and one grandchild; daughter Leatrice DiLoreto, her husband Mike, two children and two grandchildren; and daughter Dawn Hutchins, her husband Devin, three children and three grandchildren.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his two brothers Duane and Robert, and his two sisters Shirley Strassburg and Sherly Fankhauser.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Dorthy Danler and Ruth Domme, and one brother Robert Bernatzki. Surviving family include one sister, Audrey Huffman.
