Daniel Dwayne "Cooter" Peters

Daniel Dwayne "Cooter" Peters, 54, was born May 25, 1966 in Dodge City, KS.  He Passed from this life on June 24, 2020 at his home in Kinsley, KS. after a long battle with throat cancer.

Dan will be remembered for the time he spent playing semi-pro football for the Rough Riders and TriCity Marshalls, his gun fighting days at Boothill Museum in Dodge City, the wonderful evenings out dancing with his wife, going fishing with his wife and grandchildren, and the undying love he had for his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Camron, his mother Pamela Ann Peters and his father Frank Peters.

He is survived by his beloved wife Sheila, four children; Danialle (Lance Dalton) Peters, Nikilas (Reyna) Peters, Kelsey (Tyler) Dalton, Nicholas (Caitlin) Peters, and two step children Lonnie Stiles and Jacob Stiles.  Eleven Grandchildren;  Jonathan, Pheynix, Jayvyn, Tayton, Marianne, Rosie, Gabriel, Maddison, Micheal, Elizabeth, and Teagan.

Graveside services will be Monday, June 29, 2020 at 10:30 am in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City, KS.
