Norbert "Bud" Hornung

Norbert “Bud” Hornung, 70, passed away on August 26, 2020 at Edwards County Medical Center in Kinsley. He was born February 5, 1950, in Spearville, KS. the son Bernard and Marie (Kasselman) Hornung. On November 22, 1969, Norbert married Rebecca Birzer in Offerle, KS. Bud is survived by his wife Becky of Offerle, KS. a brother Bob Hornung and wife Charlene, and three sisters Celine Hall, Jane Werner and husband Tom, and Carol Correll and husband Chuck, and one granddaughter Jadiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother Emogene Hornung, one son Steven Alan Hornung, and a brother Clifford Hornung. Visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at McKillip Memorial Chapel in Kinsley. Vigil service will be at 7 p.m. on Sunday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Offerle, KS. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2020 at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Kinsley. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Church or to the Edwards County Hospital Auxiliary in care of McKillip Memorial Funeral Home, Kinsley.
