Ronald J. Schaller

Ronald J Schaller of Grove, OK. passed away May 1st 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Mo.

Born Dec. 3rd 1939 to Paul Joseph (Joe) & Matilda (Tillie) Schaller on the farm 7 miles southwest of Kinsley, Ks.

Ron was employed at People’s Natural Gas Co. in Dodge City for 37 years.

He was a avid hunter & fisherman and went on many trips.

After retirement he and his wife Shirley moved to Grove, Ok.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joe & Matilda Schaller a brother Gerald Schaller & son Mitchell Schaller, also a son that died at birth Geno.

He is survived by wife Shirley of Grove, Ok.

Daughter Chris and husband Gary Peters of Powdelry, TX., son’s Rodney and wife Phyllis Schaller of Wichita, KS.,  George Schaller of McPherson, KS., Two step children Jeff Karns & Jennifer Schellhamer. Grand children & great grandchildren, his brother’s David and wife Debbie Schaller of Stillwater, OK. & Maurice and wife Rita Schaller of Larned, KS. and 3 sister’s Linda and husband Frank Taggart of Salina, KS., Marlene and husband Gary Williams of Independence, MO., Susan and husband Kenneth Setzkorn of West Des Moines, IA.  Cremation has taken place. A grave side service will be at 11 am on May 27, 2023 at St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery, Kinsley
