V. Marcile (Kazmaier) King

V. Marcile King, 94, passed away on May 22, 2023, in Larned, KS. She was born on December 24, 1928, in Belpre, KS. the daughter of William and Mary Kazmaier. Marcile graduated from Belpre High School and was a member of the Lewis United Methodist Church in Lewis, KS. She retired as VP/Cashier after 27 years at the Home State Bank in Lewis.

On December 19, 1947, Marcile married Donald Keith King in Lewis.

She is survived by her children; Boyd King and wife Tona of Pensacola, FL., Jo Lynne Brothers and husband Devere of Burden, KS., and William (Bill) King and wife Sheri of Lewis, KS., nine grandchildren; Daniel King (Brandi), Megan Collette (Andy), Justin Meier (Sarah), Jared Peterson, Jaymee Peterson (Anthony), Lucas King (Dorothy), Alex King (Abby), Evan King (Audrey), and Kayla Keep (Nate), 23 great grandchildren, a sister Catherine Hammond of Colorado Springs, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Keith, four brothers; Kenneth, Cecil, Robert and Andrew Kazmaier, and one sister Darlene English, and a grandson Conner Reed King.

Visitation will be from 3pm to 6pm on Friday, May 26, 2023 at McKillip Memorial Funeral Home, Kinsley. Funeral will be at 10am on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the Lewis United Methodist Church in Lewis, with Rev. Justin Meier presiding, burial will follow in Trotter Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Country Living of Larned, or to Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice, or to Edwards County Golf Course in care of McKillip's.
