In Memory of Michael James Herman
Michael James Herman, the son of the late Joseph A. Herman and Rinildis Stramel, was born September 12, 1949, in Norton, Kansas. He passed from this life into his heavenly home on October 4, 2019, in the hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma after a long illness.
Michael graduated from Waverly High School in Waverly, Kansas. Later Michael graduated from a Kansas City Sweedish Massage School and worked many years as a Masseur in health clubs.
Michael struggled with poor eyesight and had several surgeries. In the late 90’s his health failed and in 2006 he moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma to be close to family. He was on dialysis for 13 years. His last years were spent in a nursing home.
Michael had asked Jesus Christ to be his savior in the lat 70’s and was baptized in the Baptist faith in 2007.
Michael is survived by his sister Jane May, sisters-in-law Patty Herman, Linda Herman Ellan Herman and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Arlyn Herman, Verlyn Herman and John Herman.
