Rodney Ray Spreier, 68, died unexpectedly on December 25, 2018 while visiting his family for the holidays. Rodney was born November 22, 1950 in Dodge City, KS to Gilbert and Barbara Spreier. He is proceded in death by his father and his grandparents. Rodney is survived by his wife Sherry Spreier, Mother Barbara Montgomery Davenport, Bucklin, KS, daughters Lezlie Morris (Mark), Pella, IA, Tina Strickland (Tim) Great Bend, KS, Deitra Blevins (Bert) Lewis, KS. Step children Jenna Kandt and her son Gaige, El Dorado, KS, Zach Vermillion (Nina) Wichita, KS. Two brothers, Terry Spreier (Betty), OKC, OK, Keith Montgomery, Kinsley, KS. Four sisters, Cindy Richardson (William), Texas City, Tx, Jana Simmons (Michael), Kinsley, KS, Shala Miller (Pete), Kinsley, KS, Kay Freize, Texas City, TX. Multiple grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends. Rod liked to hunt and rode horses in his younger years. He raised Scotties and German Shepard dogs. Rod worked and retired from Boeing but was afraid to fly. He will be missed by many.
