Constance "Connie" Jean Fisher passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of love, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred “Bub” and Emogene Holland and brother, Larry Holland. She is survived by her sister, Cheryl Holland (Kinsley), beloved husband, Terry D. Fisher (Salina) her children, Tammy (Fisher) Brougher (Peoria, Az), Paula (Fisher-Hattrup) Fertig (McPherson), and William Fisher (Salina); her treasured grandchildren, Trevor Brougher, Brooke (Hattrup) Pearson, Mariah (Brougher) Holt, Shelby Hattrup, Justin Fisher, and Bryntlie Fertig and her greatgrandchildren Ryland Brougher, B’ellana Brougher, and Chase Elliot Pearson were her pride and joy.

Connie dedicated 25 years to Girl Scouting as a leader, helping shape the lives of countless young girls through mentorship, encouragement, and example. She was also a proud member of the Water Garden Society of Oklahoma from 2016 to 2019, where she enjoyed sharing her appreciation for nature, ponds, and beautiful gardens.

Gifted with remarkable creativity, Connie was happiest when making something with her hands. Whether volunteering to help with her children's classroom parties, painting handcrafted decorations, participating in craft shows, or creating beautifully decorated cakes, she poured love into everything she made. Those fortunate enough to know her often admired both her artistic talents and her generous spirit.

In her younger years, Connie and Terry shared a love of square dancing, creating memories filled with music, laughter, and friendship. Throughout her life, however, her greatest joy was always her family. She loved her children unconditionally, never wavering in her support or affection. No matter the occasion, her home was always open, welcoming everyone for dinners, holidays, or simply a place to gather. Christmas held a special place in Connie's heart. She was delighted to bake an endless variety of homemade cookies, filling her home with the comforting aromas and traditions her family will forever treasure. Valentine's Day was another favorite celebration, marked by her homemade suckers and cinnamon hard candy—sweet treats that became beloved family traditions.

Above all else, Connie adored her grandchildren and great-grandson. They were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in each of them. Her greatest accomplishment was the loving family she nurtured, and the countless memories she created through simple acts of kindness, generosity, and togetherness.

Connie will be remembered for her warm heart, creative spirit, welcoming home, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Though she will be deeply missed, the traditions she created, the lessons she taught, and the love she shared will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

The family finds comfort in knowing that while Connie's earthly journey has ended, her legacy of love will remain a lasting gift for generations to come.

Her funeral will be held at McKillip’s Funeral Home in Kinsley, Kansas, at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Donations are preferred in lieu of flowers to The Kinsley All School Reunion in care of McKillips Funeral Home.
