Daniel V. Espinosa Jr.

Daniel Victor Espinosa Jr. 59 of Kinsley Ks. Passed away on March 19th 2026 at his home with his family by his side. Born March 6th, 1967 in Dodge City, Kansas to Esther and Daniel Espinosa.

Danny started working at age 14 at Standard Station. After a few years he went acrossed the street to Bills Muffler Shop. Then started with Kansas Department of Transportation in 1992 and retired in 2022.

He was a member of Knights of Columbus and St. Nicholas Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen Espinosa. Sons: Jordan Espinosa (Leah), Tyson Espinosa (Taylor), Daughter: Amber Espinosa (Jaylon) Grandchildren: Kynlee, Jabari, Miles, Zane, Cooper, Zara, Anyla, and Jensen.

Mother:Esther Espinosa(Phil)

Brothers: James Espinosa (Pilar), Michael Espinosa (Nora); Sister: Janae Price (Brandon); Numerous nieces and nephews.

Extended family: Brooke, Anthony, Latavius, Amir, and Vayden.

Danny loved his family deeply and cherished every moment spent with his grandkids. He was known for his dry humor and witty one-liners, always bringing laughter and warmth to those around him. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, showing a kindness and generosity that touched so many lives.

He was a loyal fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks sticking by them through every win and every loss. That same loyalty carried through in his life—especially in the way he loved and supported his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Preceded in death by: Father; Daniel Espinosa.

Grandparents: Henry and Lila Blea, Mike and Tomasa Espinosa.

Monetary donations in Danny’s name to his grandchildren’s college fund.

Funeral will be held March 23rd, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
