Geneva N. Corpening, 85, retired dietician, died Jan. 1, 2017 in Kinsley, KS.
She was born on July 14, 1931 in Elkhart, KS to John & Arma (Francis) Nester. She married Lester Corpening on Nov. 14, 1952.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lester, brothers Everett, Bill and Don and sisters Evelyn and Wanda.
Survivors include Sons; Lester Paul and Linda Baggrich of Amarillo, TX, Dan and wife Robin of Hugoton, KS, Dennis and wife Isela of Hugoton, KS, Val and Wife Brittany of Scranton, KS, and Dallas and Melody Evans of Grand Junction, CO, daughters Cynthia Sonday and husband Kenneth of Dodge City, KS, and Deanna Habiger and husband Mike of Kinsley, KS, a Brother Ronald Nester of Mesa, AZ, Sisters; Vera Neal of Williamsburg, KS, Maxine Bruner of Ottawa, KS, and Lynn Whisennand of Seminole, OK, 15 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation 9am-8pm Tues. at McKillip Memorial Funeral Home Family will greet friends from 7pm until 8pm. Services Wed. 10am at Kinsley Congregational Church.
