Jerry W. Oliver

Jerry W. Oliver, 72, died July 31, 2016 at Edwards County Hospital in Kinsley.  He was born on November 15, 1943 in Hitchita, OK., the son of Elisha and Zelma (Sessions) Oliver.

On January 2, 1962, Jerry married Gwendolyn Ashlock in Dewar, OK., she passed on October 20, 2009.

Jerry is survived by three daughters; Zelma Oliver, and Pamela Zimmerman both of Kinsley, KS., and Kristi Stevens of Haviland, KS.; a brother Leroy and a sister Alberta Collett; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Who he loved very much!  He was preceded in death by his wife, a son Phillip and a daughter Gwenna Korte.

Visitation will be from 9am until 7pm on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at McKillip Memorial Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held at 10am in Hillside Cemetery in Kinsley with Rev. Russell Scott presiding.  Memorials are suggested to the Jerry Oliver Memorial in care of the funeral home.
