Mark W. Burkhart

Mark Burkhart, 70, passed away on Monday, June 16th at Trinity Manor, Dodge City, Ks.

Mark was born to William G & Martina (Hertel) Burkhart on November 23rd, 1954 in Kinsley, Ks.

Mark is survived by his son, Clayton Burkhart, Kinsley, KS., His Siblings: Don Burkhart, Goddard, KS., Elaine (Jerry) Gerber, Garden Plain, Connie (Jerry) Burgardt, Pratt,  Linda (Melvin) Strecker, Spearville,  Allen (Betty) Burkhart, Wright,  Norman (Linda) Burkart, Langdon,  Tom (Krista) Burkhart, Cimarron, In Laws: Linda Kay Burkhart, Lyndon and  Gerald Grasser, Garden City, His Grandchildren: Christopher, MaKayla, Maddison, Jace & Nicole, an Uncle:  Harold Burkhart, Kinsley, Aunt (Godmother): Mary Ann Taylor, Ellis, he is also survived by multiple nephews, nieces, cousins & friends.

Mark spent years working for Giles Ranch & then began his trucking career for Kindsvater Trucking and Kansas Feeds, an occupation he dearly loved.

Mark thought highly of his children & grandchildren. He loved kids, horses and off-road mudding. He really enjoyed teasing and joking with everyone. He will also be missed by friends Melvin McCarty & Grace Sinclair, thanks to them for their devoted and long friendships.  Also, a sincere thank you to all who came to visit and spend time with Mark especially these last several months.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Claytons Mother, Kay Burkhart, Daughter Mindy Suddock, brothers Gary & Roger, Sister Patricia Grasser, Sister-in-Law Annette Burkhart.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th at 1:30 at the St. John Cemetery in Spearville, Ks. With Pastor Kyle Lawson presiding.
