Vera L. (Scott) Brodbeck

Vera L. Brodbeck 90, passed away peacefully December 7, 2014 surrounded by family & loved ones.  Vera Was Born August 3, 1924 to Ralph & Lula Barnes Scott in Kinsley Kansas. She Married Buford L. Brodbeck in May 1942. She loved spending time with her family & friends.  She was very active in her community.  She was presented the award for outstanding women of the year.  Holiday meals & celebrations at home were a passion of hers.  She loved to cook, bake cookies, cakes & pies for everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Buford that passed away just weeks ago on Nov. 19, 2014, her beloved grandsons Mikel & Jeffrey Brodbeck.  She is survived by her son Leland & Wife Vicki of Olathe, Ks.  Grandsons Todd Brodbeck of Durango, CO.  Brian Brodbeck & Wife Jennifer, two Great Grandsons Max & Charlie Brodbeck of Lakewood CO.  Her family wishes to thank the Dr's, & Nurses & staff at Edwards County Hospital & her caregivers; Linda Dill, Lexie Rice, & Pat Rincon all of Kinsley
