Alice Fisher Obituary

Alice M. Fisher, 72, died Oct. 9, 2020 in Wichita, she was born Jan. 28, 1948 in Kinsley, KS. the daughter of Robert and Marie (Schinstock) Kallaus. She graduated from Kinsley High School in 1966. She then went to Wichita to become a cosmetologist.

Alice married Larry Fisher on Jan. 25, 1969 in Kinsley, KS. She then became a Navy wife. They moved to New York, Barbados, Virginia Beach, Annapolis, Maryland, Norfolk Virginia, to name a few. She was very active in her military role. For many years she was Navy ombudsman for the wives. She has actively been a member of the Navy Wives Club. They would meet in various states for meetings. After Larry got out of the Navy, together they opened a painting business. They worked hand in hand for 10 years in Virginia Beach.

To their marriage she had two children Jeffery Fisher of Houston, TX. and Kellie (Fisher) Katz of Kinsley, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry, a sister Barb, a brother Robert.

Survivors include Jeffery of Houston, Kellie (Brock) of Kinsley, KS. a sister Leona (Ron) New Jersey, a brother Ron of Hutchinson, KS., brother Jerry (Anne) of Hutchinson, Grandsons Dakota of Pennsylvania, and Cole Katz of Kinsley, a granddaughter Shaylen Katz of Kinsley, several nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. She loved her grandbabies and tried to attend everything they were involved in.
