Blaine A. Mathes

Blaine A. Mathes, died on December 17, 2021 in Reno, Nevada. He was born December 23, 1960 in Kinsley, Kansas, the son of Duane and Susan (Hearn) Mathes. Blaine spent his school years in Kinsley graduating in 1979 from Kinsley High School.  Blaine then joined the United States Coast Guard for four years. 

Blaine is survived by his parents, a brother Michael and wife Sharyl Mathes and nieces Courtney Mathes and Caleigh Mathes, an aunt Sarah Hearn and an uncle Chris Hearn. He was preceded in death by his grandparents a brother Stephen, an uncle John and baby daughter Tara.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service is planned for a later date. Memorials may be given to the Kinsley Library in care of McKillip Memorial Funeral Home, Kinsley.
