Clifford Waynne Tipton, passed away on September 19, 2023 at Hays, KS. He was born on January 3, 1968 in Burley, Idaho, the son of Harmon Hyle and Carol Elizabeth (Brehm) Tipton.
Clifford went to school in Ulysses through the 9th grade. At age 16 he worked for Gigot Farms in Garden City driving tractors and farming. In 1995 he moved to Kinsley where he worked for Marvin Ryan fixing mowers and going to Ellis, KS. For monuments. He also worked for Dean Welsch in Haviland, farming. Dean and Cliff liked antique tractor pulls, which both participated in as well. Lately he was helping Bill Burr in Kinsley with harvest. He enjoyed riding his four wheeler at the river with his friends. Riding Motorcycles to Bucklin for breakfast was a joy of his. He was a member of the Kansas Outlaw Raceing Lawn Mower Club of Kinsley. The last two years he took first place at the Kinsley Lighted Christmas Parade.
Cliff never married, he is survived by a sister Lenora Rose Tipton, two brothers Vernon-Paul Tipton and Russell Eugene Tipton all of Kinsley.
Visitation will be on McKillip Memorial Chapel, Kinsley on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 9 am until Noon with graveside service to follow at 1 pm in Hillside Cemetery, Kinsley. A reception will follow at City Hall at 2 pm. Memorial are to McKillip Memorial Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
