Michael E. Sturgeon

Michael E Sturgeon 66, went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2022. He was born January 7th, 1956, in Manhattan, KS to father Larry Sturgeon and mother Elizabeth Sturgeon. He attended Dodge City Community College and Fort Hays State University, and he cherished the K-State Wildcats. 

He was an amazing husband to Anni Sturgeon and one of the best grandfathers to many of his beloved grandchildren. He loved the military, and he was very involved in politics. He also loved sports, reading, animals, music, gardening, and fishing. Not a day would ever go by that he didn’t spoil us all with his love and humor.

Michael is survived by his spouse Anni, six children, numerous grandchildren, and his sister Lori. 

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at the VFW on October 22, 2022, from 12-2pm.

Memorial donations may be made in Michael’s honor to the Kinsley Library.
