Robert O. Bernatzki

Robert O. Bernatzki, 87, passed away on June 11, 2021, at the Edwards County Medical Center, Kinsley. He was born March 24, 1934 in Kinsley, KS. the son of Theodore and Elsie (Pickard) Bernatzki.

Robert is survived by one son Terry Bernatzki of Offerle, Kansas, two daughters Debbie Hildenbrand and husband Tom Hildenbrand of Kinsley, Kansas, and Deanna Benish and late husband Leonard of Kinsley, Kansas, two sisters Audrey Huffman and husband Keith Huffman of Sioux City, Iowa, and Helen Delay and late husband Dale Delay of Scott City, Kansas, four grandchildren; Justin Hildenbrand of Kinsley, Kansas, Tracy Reiling and Husband Blake Reiling of Kinsley, Kansas, Bradley Benish of Kinsley, Kansas, and Benjamin Benish of Kinsley, Kansas; and 1 great grandchild; Tiara Bollig of Portales, New Mexico.  He was preceded in death by his wife Donna Bernatzki, and two sisters Dorothy Danler and  husband Butch Danler of Kinsley, Kansas, and Ruth Domme and husband Ed Domme of Kinsley, Kansas.

Robert was great man who will be missed by many.  He never failed to make everyone around him laugh, and for those who received them, he gave the best hugs.

A graveside service is planned for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021, at Hillside Cemetery in Kinsley, KS.

Memorials may be given to the Kinsley United Methodist Church in care of McKillip Memorial Funeral Home, Kinsley.
