Working between the towns of Dodge City, Hutchison, Kinsley, and Cimarron, he eventually held Postmaster at Larned and Great Bend, retiring in 2005. At that time, Terry and Marilyn moved to Table Rock Lake in Kimberling City, MO, meeting new lifelong friends and making many great memories, including lots of family visiting often.
Terry’s health became a priority and that led them back to Kansas in 2013, moving to Galva. Terry was adamant that all of his kids work hard and often--which led to him buying the Kinsley Ice Company, a radiator shop, and the kids mowing many yards. Terry was a member of many clubs and organizations including the Kinsley Fire Dept, the VFW, Knights of Columbus and was also a past Mayor of Kinsley.
